Did you know your paver patio, walkway, or driveway can be just as unique as the rest of your home? The creativity doesn’t have to stop with the furniture and fixtures! Your pavers are just as important as the rest of your backyard. There are many ways to create a design you’ll love for years to come. Here are just a few materials and designs we’ve found:

Keeping Things Natural – Sometimes a homeowner wants to keep their outdoors as natural and outdoorsy as possible. This means just letting the ground and the plants do their thing so it doesn’t have that manmade feeling. Use pavers that have browns, greens, and greys. It’s that rustic style without going overboard.

Irregular Spaces – Sometimes having a little chaos is fun! Experimenting with the layout of the stones can create new and interesting ways to fit them in that you didn’t know was possible. Staying traditional can be boring. Mix up the stones and see what you get!

Extent the Stones Up – Stone walls not only section off different parts of the backyard, but they can also provide extra, if not the main, seating for the yard. Make sure the seats are smoothed out though. Nothing is more uncomfortable than sitting on uneven rocks.

Color Crazy – Stones don’t need to just the old boring grey. They can have a range of colors to choose from to make the pavers as unique as you are.

Porcelain – This may seem like a weird addition to the list. When you hear porcelain you think of dolls, not pavers. Fun fact though porcelain is actually a pretty strong material, and it can hold up to the wear and tear of day-to-day activities. It’s able to handle pretty much any weather that hits, so it’s very durable. It’ll be a great addition to any backyard, and it’ll make for a great conversation piece!
